Note from the Programs Director
The Community is aware of the budget constraints we face and the changes this has necessitated over the last several months. We are working through these challenges with a goal of continuing our service to those suffering from Mental illness in our community and while things will look different we are hopeful we will be able to provide needed programming in the future.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the Department of Community Services for their support of our programs and their tireless support of the members of our community who are in need. It is through their efforts and community focus that has allowed CMHA and other Non Profit Organizations to provide much needed services in our community.
I would be remiss if I did not also recognize Employment Nova Scotia who provides funding for our Employment Assistance Program. They have committed support for another year to allow continuation of our Employment Services.
Thanks to all of those individuals in our community for their continued support for those 1 in 5 who are suffering from Mental Illness.
